WATER FACT 1
Water covers over 70% of the Earth's surface. Water carries oxygen. Water creates life.

WATER FACT 2
Our majority of bodies made of water. We require water to live, to hydrate ourselves and grow the crops needed to sustain life.

Heavy Water

Heavy water is similar to traditional water that we all know as H2O. Heavy water replaces the H2 or Hydrogen with an isotope called Deuterium, thus the chemical definition of heavy water is D2O.

Heavy water has a different bonding energy than H2O and was used in the making of the first atomic weapons and continues to be used with a type of reactor that can produce plutonium out of uranium. The properties of D2O are a bit different than lighter water. The freezing point is nearly 39 degrees Farenheight and the boiling point over 101 degrees Farenheight.

Heavy water is expensive and mildly toxic and its manufacture, sale and transport are heavily monitored.
