Water Rights


Water rights are the legal right of a person to use water from a variety of water sources. Water sources can be rivers, streams or sources of groundwater such as wells and underground water tables. In some areas of the world, water rights are a legal and sometimes complicated issue. Many times water rights become a source of conflict.
